With over 230 branches across eight states, Washington Federal has over 1800 employees using a variety of collateral from a host of print and merchandise vendors. They needed to streamline workflow, improve communication, combine buying power and fulfill marketing materials with shorter lead times – all while protecting brand identity and maintaining valued vendor relationships.
Together with Washington Federal, SmithBates evaluated workflow and existing processes to identify pinch-points and opportunities for streamlining. As a result, SmithBates built a centrally controlled web platform that deploys and automates a variety of marketing functions for the bank. Each branch and department has access to timely, branded materials that are either downloaded or delivered to their doorstep.
In addition to the marketing, sales, and training tools available on the front-end of the site, the SmithBates storefront connects several Washington Federal approved marketing vendors on one site. This means branches no longer need multiple logins to order collateral, promotional items, and order business cards.
This dynamic marketing resource portal simplifies printing and merchandise ordering, organizes digital assets, and controls the use of their brand while still providing electronic templates that can be customized, downloaded and printed locally.
