Ann provides leadership to the management team at SmithBates and guides the operations of the company including business development, marketing, technology and accounting functions. She has been responsible for new media strategy and the ever-evolving changes in digital technology operations, as well as bringing design, web services and fulfillment to SmithBates.
Ann holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Maine, and MBA from Portland State. She began a career in the financial service sector as an auditor, manager and consultant for the industry. Born and raised in Maine, a sense of adventure and travel brought her to Oregon after living in Washington and California for career positions.
She and her husband Dan are food enthusiasts and enjoy entertaining with their friends. Their two Westies, Reilly and Terry, come to work each day and are part of the SmithBates team.
